The simple truth is th...So freaking awesome, Cale.<br /><br />The simple truth is that it's hard to take many principals seriously when they call themselves "instructional leaders" and yet their primary instructional style in faculty meetings is "stand and deliver-ers." <br /><br />I can count the number of times that I left a professional development session or a faculty meeting feeling "engaged" or "motivated" or "challenged" on one hand -- and I've been teaching for 21 years under a TON of different school leaders.<br /><br />Can we REALLY be surprised that instruction doesn't change in classrooms when teachers rarely see models of the kind of instruction that we say they should be embracing? <br /><br />Finally -- if YOU can't do it, you can't hold ME accountable for doing it. <br /><br />#simpletruth<br /><br />Rock on, <br />Bill<br />Bill Ferriterhttp://blog.williamferriter.comnoreply@blogger.com
