Realizations from the side of the desk of a Principal. It's education. There is no more money. There is no more time: there are 24 hours in the day. It's also the greatest job in the world, so let's get on with it.

Check out this excellent document on how to get started with 21st Century Skills from nearby Maple Ridge!
Great start. Haven't had a chance to go through it exclusively, but it looks pretty good at first blush.

How can we improve our G-Portfolios?
We just saw Will Richardson in Chicago this past week at the 21st Century Learning Conference. He makes some very good points in this article
http://www.edweek.org/tsb/articles/2010/10/12/01richardson.h04.html?cmp=clp-edweek&intc=es
especially the one about modelling by the administrator. I have realized that I need to model this for our staff, and do a better job on my own g-portfolio. What are other people doing right now to work on their G-portfolio?
If you have not heard this term before, don't feel bad, just read the article above!
